Too many children end up going home alone after school because their parents are working. This is just something that many families have learned to deal with. The cost of childcare for after school often doesn’t fit well into the family budget so it isn’t a viable option. Most parents with children in this type of situation are uneasy about it but they really feel like they have no other choice in the matter.
